Combine multiple osu!mania maps into one .osz pack
Cascade's Pack Creator merges several
osu!mania beatmaps into a single .osz
song pack, entirely in your browser. Import any number of maps, give
the pack one title and creator, and export one beatmapset where every
song appears as its own difficulty, the way dan courses, jumpstream
collections and training packs are usually distributed.
How it works
- Open Cascade and pick Pack Creator on the start menu.
- Drop your
.oszfiles onto the screen, or browse the projects you already saved locally or to your account. - Set a pack title and creator. The Artist field defaults to Various Artists since the pack holds songs from many artists.
- Review each entry: song display name, optional rate, and the mapper credit shown in brackets.
- Validate, then export one merged
.oszand drop it straight into osu!.
What it handles for you
- Difficulty names are generated live, like
Galaxy Collapse x0.9 [Mapper], so every song stays searchable inside the pack. - Rate detection: markers like
x1.2,0.9x,DTorHTin the original difficulty name prefill the rate field. - Mapper credits: each map's original creator stays visible and lands in the difficulty name, while the pack has one shared creator.
- File collisions: when two maps ship an
audio.mp3with different contents, one is renamed safely and its.osureferences are rewritten. - Charts stay untouched: notes, timing, SVs and hitsounds are carried over byte for byte; only the metadata is rewritten.
- Thumbnail difficulty: optionally adds the classic minimal
-Deleteplaceholder entry packs use as a cover slot. - Validation flags missing titles, duplicate difficulty names, missing audio and other problems before you export.
Multi-song packs are meant for local play and unranked sharing. The official osu! ranking process expects one song per beatmapset, so don't submit a merged pack for ranking.
Why packs?
Rhythm game communities have always shared training material as packs:
StepMania and Etterna players download whole folders of themed charts,
and osu!mania players rebuild the same idea as multi-difficulty
beatmapsets. Building one by hand means editing metadata in a dozen
.osu files and fixing filename clashes yourself. The Pack
Creator does that busywork in seconds, and because Cascade is also a
full online osu!mania editor, you can fix a chart, retime
a section or convert maps from StepMania /
Etterna before packing them.
